Imperfect, Unwavering Devotion
The most important part of this practice, to me, is that it is a tangible reminder of my continuous connection to Inanna. Even when I am unable to physically sit at my altar, that connection is still always there and that connection cannot be broken by illness, injury, other mundane responsibilities such as work or family, or anything else.


Trees, Resilience, and Community
Even though the tree had been injured by human hands, even though it is still living with the scars of those wounds, I noticed that it is still alive and still thriving. It still grows green leaves, its branches still reach toward the sun. It is still doing all the things that trees are meant to do.
